On May 3, 2004, The Queen's Health Care Centers opened its sixth clinic in Lihue, Kauai. Modeled similar to the Queen's Hilo Specialty Clinic, the Kauai Specialty Clinic was established to provide needed specialty service for the residents of Kauai. Queen's has worked closely with numerous physicians from the community to identify needed services. Together, Queen's and local physicians continue to recruit specialists to better serve the people of Kauai.
