Operating Room

The Queen's Medical Center has decades of experience with virtually every type of surgical procedure. What is called the Main Operating Room (OR) at Queen's actually consists of 17 operating rooms, including three that are equipped for open heart procedures and two with the latest technology used to perform minimally invasive surgery.

Providing surgical services to patients of all ages, Queen's Main OR is staffed round the clock with experienced and dedicated surgeons, registered nurses and other health professionals. Surgical services include a wide range of procedures in the areas of cardiology, neurology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, urology, gynecology, otolaryngology, dental/maxillofacial, plastic, trauma and general surgery. Extensive educational resources are also available for health care professionals as well as for patients and their families.
