Available Positions

The APRN functions as an expert practitioner with educator consultant, researcher and leadership role components and functions autonomously and in collaboration with other health care professionals to enhance the quality of nursing practice and patient care. Provides health care that includes services to individuals and families which emphasize health promotion, disease prevention, and diagnosis and management of acute and chronic diseases.

Provides hemodynamic and physiological monitoring assistance during induction, maintenance and emergence from anesthesia; performs first line maintenance on anesthesia equipment.

Coordinates the ordering, receiving and shipping of equipment and supplies; inventory of stock and distributing; preventive maintenance and repair of respiratory equipment; cleaning, assembly and storage of equipment; and participates in the orientation of new employees to the proper assembly and use of equipment. Performs duties in accordance with policies and procedures as established by the Medical Center and department.

Performs duties related to the scheduling and processing of patients for medical services according to established guidelines. Provides financial assistance to patients in identifying resources to cover anticipated clinic and medical center charges not covered by health plan, insurance, or other sources.

Performs administrative and related patient care functions and activities to support the physician practice as assigned, such as registration, scheduling and checks in patients. Will answers phones, billing and coding and order supplies. Assists with patient care duties as assigned, communicates pertinent information to patient and family, documents patient’s chart, assists in maintenance of exam rooms, medical equipment and supplies. Experience to demonstrate knowledge of pharmacology, one year direct patient care experience and completion of an accredited MA program. (BLS/HCP by AHA required)
