A Kamehameha Schools graduate, Dr. Kahealani Rivera grew up in Waipahu, Hawai‘i. She earned her Bachelor of Arts and MD degrees from Stanford University. Dr. Rivera completed her Internal Medicine Residency and Fellowship training at the University of Hawai‘i John A. Burns School of Medicine. She is one of two first graduates of the Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Training Program sponsored by the University of Hawai‘i and The Queen’s Medical Center – Punchbowl.

Dr. Rivera focuses on non-interventional medical and diagnostic Cardiology. Her special interests include refractory hypertension, including catheter-based renal denervation, as well as cardiovascular disease in women and Native Hawaiians. With the support of specialty-trained cardiologists and a caring staff, Dr. Rivera offers the best and most advanced treatments available.
