Physical Therapy and Wound Care Clinic

At Molokai General Hospital, the Physical Therapy Department provides care to improve mobility and balance, restore function, reduce pain and prevent further injury or decline. A variety of methods are used including manual therapy, aquatic therapy, therapeutic exercises, and the application of modalities such as electrical stimulation, traction, or ultrasound. Therapists provide one-on-one care to our patients to get them back to optimal functioning mobility for their everyday activities.

Molokai’s only Wound Care Clinic (WCC) is also located within the Physical Therapy Department. The WCC is supported by physicians from the network of The Queen’s Medical Center with monthly visits. Our on-staff wound therapist provides wound care services to patients between our physician’s visits.

The Physical Therapy and Wound Care Clinic team consists of physical therapists, wound care physicians, and dedicated support staff to treat and care for all of our patients
