Queen's Cancer Centers

The Queen’s Health Systems provides Hawaii’s most complete cancer care. Queen’s comprehensive care program was established in Hawaii more than 40 years ago. Today, we continue to provide Hawaii’s patients with complete cancer care, from prevention to diagnosis and treatment, to survivorship.

The Queen’s Medical Center is the first and only hospital in Hawaii to be certified by MD Anderson Cancer Network®, a program of MD Anderson Cancer Center, to bring world-renowned cancer expertise to patients in the state. This national access, matched with Queen’s established excellence in cancer care, elevates the level of cancer care for all of Hawaii.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, new policies have been put in place to keep our patients and staff safe.

First Time Patients: A COVID-19 test is required 5 – 7 days prior to your first appointment. Your primary care physician will arrange for a test.

Established Patients: If you are currently under the care of one of our medical oncologists, you do not need to be re-tested for COVID-19 unless:

  • Your physician decides to change your treatment regiment
  • You are considered high risk for COVID-19 after pre-screening with our staff
  • You are on high-risk treatment

Caregivers: At this time, Queen’s has a no visitor policy. If you need assistance to your appointment, we recommend that your caregiver takes a COVID-19 test 5 – 7 days prior to your appointment.

If appropriate, telehealth appointments are available.
