The Comprehensive Epilepsy Center at The Queen’s Medical Center Neuroscience Institute is accredited by the National Association of Epilepsy Centers (NAEC) as a Level 4 Epilepsy Center. Level 4 epilepsy centers have the professional expertise and facilities to provide the highest level medical and surgical evaluation and treatment for patients with complex epilepsy.

A Level 4 Comprehensive Epilepsy Center designation means that patients in Hawai‘i do not have to travel to the mainland for advanced care for epilepsy and seizure disorders. We are able to provide all the services that patients may need for the treatment of even the most complex epilepsy cases.
