The first in the state, Queen’s Neurointerventional Surgery team provides comprehensive treatments for a wide range of brain, spine, and blood vessel related conditions. Treatments include removing blood clots from blood vessels in stroke patients, opening vessels to increase blood flow to the brain or spinal cord, and to decreasing bleeding risk for brain aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, fistulas, and tumors. This team of specialty fellowship-trained neurointerventionalists and neurosurgeons provide coverage 24/7, 365 days a year.

Our neurointeventional surgery team is led by a fellowship-trained neurointerventionalist, who specializes in vascular disorders of the brain and spine. Using state-of-the-art imaging and the latest minimally invasive techniques, we are able to treat the most complex cerebral vascular diseases, including:
