As a part of our commitment to bring innovative expertise, the best treatment and the latest technologies to the Islands, this advanced capability enhances our clinical services and improves outcomes for neurological conditions such as:

  • Stroke
  • Traumatic brain injury
  • Severe seizures
  • Spinal cord injury
  • Severe weakness from muscle or nerve disorders
  • Recent brain surgery

Our expertly-trained team of Neuro ICU specialists take care of patients who are critically ill. Team members include:

  • Nurse practitioners
  • Nurses
  • Pharmacists
  • Dieticians

It is both nationally and internationally recognized that patients with neurological injury who receive care in an Neuro ICU have a better chance for survival and are more likely to return to a good quality of life.
