  • Pre-operative classes that are taught by a nurse and therapist for patients undergoing hip and knee joint replacement surgery or spinal surgery

  • Referral and follow up to manage a plan of care for a successful recovery
  • Specialized physical therapy and occupational therapy

The Queen’s Medical Center’s interdisciplinary approach brings together different types of specialists to treat various orthopedic-related disorders and injuries. The Orthopedic and Spine Center uses the expertise of orthopedic surgeons, hospitalist and pain specialists, anesthesiologists, residents, orthopedic nurses, physical and occupational therapists, advanced practice nurses, case managers, social workers and nurse’s aides. This comprehensive and personalized model of treatment provides a complete approach to patient- and family-centered care.
