North Hawai‘i Community Hospital is pleased to welcome Lauren Butcher, APRN-RX, to our Primary Care Clinic.  Lauren received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from the University of Colorado College of Nursing.

Lauren began her career as a nurse practitioner in hospice and palliative care in Denver, Colorado. She moved to Hawai’i in 2007 and provided care to patients in hospice, public health, and rural health clinics in Kona and Hilo, and has now joined NHCH’s Primary Care Clinic.

Lauren is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and enjoys providing caring and compassionate primary care to the community.

Lauren’s free-time interests include horseback riding, animal rescue, and travel.
