Our Team

The Queen’s inpatient Rehabilitation Services team consists of physical therapists and assistants, occupational therapists and assistants, speech-language pathologists and rehabilitation assistants. Many of our caring staff members have advanced degrees and certifications to specifically address the complex problems faced in the acute care environment.

The team collaborates with members of patients’ care teams, including physicians, surgeons, nurses, social workers, case managers and others to ensure that all patients’ functional needs are addressed and improved with a safe outcome being key. This is accomplished through individual therapy and caregiver training sessions designed to support the family or caregiver once the patient is discharged from the hospital.
