As part of our commitment to advancing heart failure care in Hawai’i, The Queen’s Medical Center will soon offer Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD) implantation. This program will provide life-saving mechanical circulatory support for patients with advanced heart failure as a bridge to transplant or as destination therapy.

The Cardiovascular & Vascular Surgery Program at The Queen’s Medical Center provides seamless coordination for patient referrals, appointments, and inquiries. Our team works closely with referring providers and patients to ensure timely access to both cardiac and vascular surgical care.
Patients may be referred to the Cardiovascular & Vascular Surgery Program by their primary care physician, cardiologist or other healthcare provider. Our Physician Referral team can assist with scheduling, insurance verification, and coordination of multidisciplinary care.
