Learn More About
Our Heart Care Services

The Queen’s Advanced Heart Failure Clinic offers the only heart failure disease management program in the state of Hawai‘i. Our team-based approach brings together a range of clinical specialists to provide comprehensive, personalized care in both the hospital and clinic setting.

Offers monitored exercise, education of cardiac risk factors and psychosocial support for patients with various types of heart disease. Studies have demonstrated that cardiac rehabilitation decreases re-hospitalization rates and improves patients’ long-term success.

A cardiac catheterization is a routine procedure to examine how well your heart is working. With this procedure, our skilled team of cardiac specialists are able to identify issues such as heart disease or blockages of the heart arteries.

A congenital heart disease is a problem, or defect, with the structure of the heart that is present at birth. The defects can involve the walls of the heart, the valves of the heart, and the arteries and veins near the heart, and can disrupt the normal flow of blood through the heart.

Queen’s Heart at The Queen’s Medical Center is proud to offer state-of-the art care for patients with electrical heart disorders, providing highly specialized therapies for a variety of heart rhythm disorders.

The Queen’s Heart Institute (QHI), General Cardiology Network serves as the central hub of cardiovascular care specialists, and as a critical point of entry into the Queen’s Healthcare System.

Our accomplished general cardiology team welcomes patient referrals from any referring provider whether they be a primary care specialist or subspecialist. Once the patient has established care with QHI, we take pride in the ability to offer a wide spectrum of cardiology specialty services, all within Queen’s system.

We do this to provide the best possible care for our patients, given the increasing complexity of medical care in the modern era.
