The Queen’s Health System’s Community Health Needs Assessment helps us tailor our services to the needs of the community and to give support where it will do the most good. Our Community Health Needs Assessment was conducted in partnership with Health Care Association of Hawaii members to identify statewide health needs. A holistic approach included gathering extensive data about social, economic, and physical environments, health risks, community needs, disparities, and vulnerable populations.
The process is thorough and sensitive, where we listen and respond as though it were a conversation between family members. Queen’s has been a part of the community for more than 160 years and we shoulder that responsibility with sincerity and aloha.
Based on the Community Health Needs Assessment, Queen’s identifies a significant health need to address. Queen’s proudly partners with community organizations to keep the people of Hawai‘i healthy at every age and stage of life.
