Money S. Atwal is a Vice President at The Queen’s Health Systems and the Interim Chief Operating Officer of Queen’s North Hawai‘i Community Hospital (QNHCH). He is responsible for providing operational strategic planning and oversight for QNHCH, which has become an important part of our health system, providing high quality, elective and emergent care for patients in the North Hawai‘i community.

Prior to this role, Mr. Atwal had been serving as Vice President of Operations, Finance, and Information Technology for QNHCH, as well as Vice President of Finance and Information Technology for Molokai General Hospital (MGH) since June 2025.

Mr. Atwal first joined our Queen’s ‘ohana in 2002, serving as Systems and Applications Director for The Queen’s Medical Center and as Epic Project Implementation Director. In 2007, he was appointed Chief Financial Officer and Chief Information Officer for the Hawai‘i Health Systems Corporation East Hawai‘i Region, before returning to Queen’s in 2015 to take on the role of Director of Finance and Information Technology at QNHCH and MGH.

Mr. Atwal is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, Healthcare Financial Management Association, the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, and the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives. He also serves as Board Treasurer for both the Hawai‘i Health Information Exchange and the Hawai‘i State Rural Health Association.
