Darlena Chadwick MBA, MSN, FACHE has been named Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of The Queen’s Health System.
Chadwick first joined the organization in 2005 and most recently served as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of The Queen’s Medical Center – West O‘ahu. In that role, she positively impacted patient outcomes and operating margins and led the development of programs that brought high-quality healthcare to one of Hawaii’s fastest-growing communities.
This promotion comes as Queen’s is experiencing rapid growth and implementing its 10-year strategic plan to further improve access to high-quality care – where, when and how consumers want to receive it. Chadwick brings a wealth of experience to this role and will be instrumental in advancing the new strategic direction of Queen’s, not only as it transforms its facilities and campuses, but also as the organization continues its evolution to a clinically integrated health system.
Chadwick’s initial focus as Chief Operating Officer will be to improve patient health by increasing access to care – whether that care is delivered in a clinic, in the hospital, or at home.
