Her small bump turned into life-threatening sepsis. Her message: Don’t wait to get help

It was an emotional reunion last week for a former Queen’s patient, Katy Grainger, who contracted sepsis back in 2018 and was not expected to survive.  But due to the heroic efforts of our caregivers and Katy’s willingness to not give up, she recovered and is now doing well, using her experience to help advocate for sepsis awareness.
