QNHCH recently held a contest to name their new super cleaning robot. Congratulations to Carleigh Vallente, Nutritional Services, whose submission, Mr. Clean Genes, was selected as the winner!
The new Xenex LightStrike robotic cleaner is the first disinfection system of its kind to deliver an extensive range of germicidal UV and can disinfect an entire patient room in as little as 20 minutes. The QNHCH EVS staff is using it in the ICU, emergency room, operating room, medical-surgical unit, and public areas, adding an extra layer of protection that can kill up to 99.7% of all bacteria, fungi, and viruses.
