Queen’s North Hawai’i Community Hospital is pleased to annnounce the arrival of Dr. Najam Awan to the Cardiology Clnnic team. Dr. Awan is board-certified in both internal medicine and cardiology and has extensive experience caring for cardiac patients in New York, Oklahoma, California, and Hawai’i.
Dr. Awan earned his medical degree from King Edward Medical University in Pakistan. He completed his internship in internal medicine at Jewish Hospital and Medical Center, NY; residencies at Sinai Hospital, MD, and University of Oklahoma Medical Center, OK; and fellowships in cardiology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, NY, and University of California School of Medicine, Davis, CA.
