Queen’s Announces Hurricane Douglas-Related Adjustments to Operations

HONOLULU – The Queen’s Health System (Queen’s) is focused on providing safe care during Hurricane Douglas. Due to the effects of this weather event, Queen’s announces the following adjustments at its hospitals and clinics:

The Queen’s Medical Center – Punchbowl

  • Visiting hours ended at 3:00 pm today. Normal visiting hours, which are from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm, will resume on Monday, July 27.
  • All other operations are continuing as usual.

The Queen’s Medical Center – West Oʻahu

  • Visiting hours ended at 3:00 pm today. Resumption of visiting hours will be dependent on weather conditions.
  • The Emergency Department will continue to allow one visitor per patient.
  • The After Hours Center, which is normally open until 8:00 pm on Sundays, is closed today. Resumption of services will be dependent on weather conditions.
  • All non-emergency surgeries and procedures scheduled for Monday, July 27, have been canceled.

Queen’s North Hawaiʻi Community Hospital

  • Normal operations

Molokai General Hospital

  • Normal operations

Queen’s Island Urgent Care

  • All five locations, which are normally open until 8:00 pm on Sundays, are closed today. Resumption of services will be dependent on weather conditions.

The Queen’s Health Care Centers

  • Normal operations
