The Queen’s Health Systems (Queen’s) has announced the appointment of Robin Kobayashi, Esq., as Executive Vice President and Chief People Strategy Officer.
Kobayashi will be responsible for planning and executing an integrated human resource strategy that focuses on the development of high performing individuals and teams to ensure delivery on the Queen’s mission. She will also play an integral role in community relations with a particular emphasis on key partnerships that enhance communication, collaboration, and improvement of the health of our community.
Kobayashi most recently served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Hawaiian Airlines. She is a former labor and employment attorney with extensive experience in leading people strategy, workforce transformation, and culture advancement in highly regulated, safety-sensitive environments. While at Hawaiian, she transformed the HR function into a service-oriented partner and built community-based workforce pipeline programs to support long-term hiring in critical frontline and technical roles.
Kobayashi is a board member with the Honolulu Youth Symphony and an advisory board member with Special Olympics.
