The Queen’s Medical Center (Queen’s) has been named to Becker’s Hospital Review’s 2025 “100 Great Hospitals in America” list, earning national recognition as the only Hawaiʻi hospital to receive this prestigious honor.

The annual Becker’s list recognizes hospitals nationwide for excellence in clinical care, patient safety, innovation, and commitment to research and education.

“It is a tremendous honor for Queen’s to be recognized as the only hospital in the state named to Becker’s list,” said Jason Chang, President and Chief Executive Officer of The Queen’s Health Systems. “This accolade is a testament to the consistency and dedication from all of our caregivers who serve our patients with CARE – Compassion, Aloha, Respect, and Excellence – as well as continuing the mission of our founders, Queen Emma and King Kamehameha IV, to provide quality health care to improve the well-being of Native Hawaiians and all of the people of Hawaiʻi.”

Queen’s is home to the state’s only Level 1 trauma center, only comprehensive stroke center, only organ transplant program, and the busiest STEMI center. Queen’s also cares for the greatest number of patients with behavioral health conditions.

Becker’s highlighted Queen’s coordinated approach to capacity management, including systemwide patient flow strategies supported by real time analytics through the Aukahi Command Center, helping ensure timely access to high quality, high acuity care statewide.

Earlier this year, Queen’s was also named Best Hospital in Hawai‘i by U.S. News & World Report for 2025–26, earning the #1 spot for the 13th straight year.
