Prior to that, she was the Community Engagement Navigator at Hawai‘i Energy, focusing on energy efficiency and equity. She also held the positions of Senior Vice President at HMSA and Chief Executive Officer at Kahuku Medical Center.

Vaioleti brings a wealth of experience to Queen’s North Hawai‘i Community Hospital. She is a seasoned Critical Access Hospital CEO with enriched knowledge in health, energy and stakeholder engagement, always striving for deeper impacts through bridge-building and partnerships. Focusing on improving the health and well-being of Native Hawaiians and all the people of Hawai‘i is a priority for Vaioleti whether it be at a clinic, hospital, or community setting.

“We are delighted to have Stephany join our Queen’s ‘ohana, leading our efforts at Queen’s North Hawai‘i Community Hospital to deliver compassionate, high-quality care to all of our patients, expand access to care, and ensure our caregivers have the tools they need to succeed,” said Jill Hoggard Green, PhD, RN, President and Chief Executive Officer of The Queen’s Health System.

Vaioleti earned a Bachelor and Master of Social Work from the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa, and Juris Doctor from the William S. Richardson School of Law.

She takes over for Cindy Kamikawa, who will be retiring in January 2024 after a long and successful career in health care. Click here to view the announcement regarding Kamikawa’s retirement.
