Respiratory Care

When you can’t breathe, nothing else matters. From neonatal to geriatric patients, Respiratory Care Services at The Queen’s Medical Center offers comprehensive and nationally awarded quality respiratory care. Respiratory Care Services treat all patients experiencing difficulty breathing or unable to breathe on their own.

Our Team

Respiratory Care Practitioners (RCPs) are vital members of the Respiratory Care team, offering a unique skills set in the diagnosis, intervention, and management of patients with respiratory diseases and disorders. Our providers serve patients across all areas of the hospital, responding to emergent calls to manage life support equipment for patients who can’t breathe on their own. RCPs educate patients and families about lung disease so they can maximize their recovery.
