Physical Therapy

The Outpatient Women’s Health Physical Therapy offered at The Queen’s Women’s Health Center is a specialty clinic, for pelvic health problems for all individuals (men, women and children), cancer rehabilitation, and care during pregnancy and postpartum. Our staff offers specialized training to perform comprehensive examination, identify problem areas, and formulate a plan to reduce your pain, maximize function, and enable you to manage these issues at home.

Our physical therapists will:

  • Help you to understand your condition
  • Perform manual therapy with you, including joint mobilization and myofascial release
  • Teach you therapeutic exercises and help design an at-home therapy program specifically for you
  • Use ultrasound, biofeedback, electrical stimulation treatments for pain relief

We offer treatments for:

  • Cancer Rehabilitation: for pain, weakness, tightness, persistent fatigue, cancer wellness
  • Incontinence: urgency and frequency, involuntary urine or bowel loss
  • Lymphedema: for swelling that may occur after cancer treatments
  • Male and Female Pelvic Pain: may occur with sitting, gynecologic exams, and effects into sexual function
  • Chronic prostatitis: Persistent urinary frequency and urgency, without active infection
  • Pregnancy and Postpartum Conditions: including sciatica, lower back pain, tailbone pain, bladder control, scarring from episiotomy of C-section

Lymphedema Screening Clinic

Are you a cancer patient or survivor? Many individuals experience symptoms during or after cancer treatment. Find out how we can help with:

  • Joint pain and stiffness
  • Swelling of your extremities
  • Persistent fatigue or weakness
  • Balance problems due to peripheral neuropathy

We specialize in treating a range of women’s health concerns and offer FREE consult and education sessions with our physical therapists.

Make an appointment with us for a one-hour education and screening session for Lymphedema.

Sessions are held every first Thursday of the month, from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm.
