Queen Emma Clinics

Queen Emma Clinics serves as a primary care clinic. We provide training and teaching for students and resident physicians of the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine, its residency programs, and other UH health care programs.

In the spirit of Queen Emma, the Queen Emma Clinics staff cares for you with Compassion, Aloha, Respect, and Excellence (our CARE Values).

Our Team

Your health care provider at the Queen Emma Clinics will most often be a doctor associated with the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM). These providers include Resident physicians who are licensed physicians receiving specialized training. Resident physicians are supervised by Attending physicians. Attending physicians provide supervision and additional care for those who require highly specialized medical attention. The Queen’s Medical Center is a teaching hospital where medical students also see patients at QEC under the close supervision of Attending physicians.

Other members of the Queen Emma Clinics team include:

  • Medical assistants
  • Nurse practitioners
  • Nurses
  • Social workers
  • Patient educators
  • Pharmacists

This team approach means that you will receive care from a variety of professionals to best meet your medical needs.
