Outpatient Rehabilitation

The Queens Medical Center Outpatient Rehabilitation department is comprised of physical, occupational and speech therapies. We utilize a patient first treatment methodology that prioritizes patient access to their provider. Every session is one – on –one with our professionally trained staff. Many of our staff have attained clinical specialties to better serve our patients, and we are constantly striving to improve our patient’s outcomes by seeking out and using current evidence for best practices.

Why Choose Queen’s Outpatient Rehabilitation?

The Outpatient Rehabilitation Services team works closely with physicians and partners within The Queen’s Medical Center and The Queen’s Health Care Centers to evaluate patient needs and develop a personalized plan for each individual. Physical, occupational and speech therapists strive to improve patient outcomes by seeking out and incorporating the best evidence-based practices into patient care plans.

Therapists teach patients how to prevent or manage conditions to achieve long-term health benefits, and in many cases, avoid expensive surgery and reduce or eliminate the need for long-term use of prescription medications and their side effects.
