Visitor Information

The Queen’s Health System is committed to the health and safety of our patients, caregivers and community. Our #1 priority is you.

The Queen’s Medical Center – Punchbowl and The Queen’s Medical Center – West Oʻahu will be allowing one visitor per hospital patient per day with protocols in place to maintain a safe environment.

The following visitor guidelines will be in place:

  • Visiting hours will be from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm.
  • Visitors must be fully vaccinated against COVID and provide CDC vaccination card upon arrival.  
  • Visitors must undergo a temperature check and health screening. Those with symptoms of respiratory illness, such as fever, shortness of breath or cough, will not be allowed.
  • Visitors must wear a mask and follow physical distancing requirements.
  • Each visitor is permitted one entry per day and must remain with the patient except when eating.
  • Visitors must be 18 years of age or older.
  • For everyone’s safety, visitors are not permitted for patients who are confirmed or under investigation for COVID-19.
  • Additional visitors may be allowed for obstetric, pediatric and newborn patients on QET10.

Patients with a scheduled appointment or procedure at an outpatient clinic/department may continue to be accompanied by one caregiver.

Molokai General Hospital and Queen’s North Hawaii Community Hospital will continue with a one visitor per patient policy.

The safety of our patients and caregivers remains our highest priority.  We continue to proactively follow Federal and State guidelines to implement precautions to ensure we are a safe place to deliver and receive high-quality, compassionate health care to all of the people of Hawaii.

Internet Access

For your convenience, Queen’s is pleased to offer free Wi-Fi in patient rooms and all public areas of the hospital. Select QMCGUEST to log in and follow the instructions and usage restrictions.

Dining

Harkness Café

Serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Features local specials and fresh, healthy options.

Hours: 6:15 am – 7:30 pm daily

Café Aloha

Located in the Lobby, Café Aloha serves Starbucks coffee, cold beverages, pastries, freshly made sandwiches, and salads.

Hours: 5:00 am – 1:00 am daily.

Café Queen’s

Located in POB 1, Café Queen’s serves Starbucks coffee, cold beverages, smoothies, hot foods, and grab-and-go items.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:30 am – 3:00 pm; Saturday, 8:00 am – 12:00 pm.

Vending machines offering beverages and healthy snacks are located outside the Emergency Department and on the path leading to the Harkness Café.

Gift Shop & Flowers

Located in the Lobby, the Gift Shop offers a wide selection of gifts, cards, flowers, sundries, and snacks. Gift Shop staff will be happy to help you with your selections and to deliver purchased items within the hospital.
