Anger Management Course

The Anger Management Course aims to increase awareness of anger as a normal, human emotion which can serve us in positive ways if managed effectively. Course content includes:

  • Understanding common misconceptions about anger
  • Identifying different styles of dealing with anger and the possible consequences of each style
  • Increasing knowledge of bullying / abusive behaviors and healthier alternatives
  • Distinguishing behavior, thinking and emotions to better understand the choices we have in responding to situations
  • Increasing skills to stop blaming others and to accept responsibility for our choices and the possible consequences
  • Gaining tools for more positive self-esteem and interactions with others
  • Understanding the significance of forgiveness

Course information:

  • Four 2-hour sessions held in the evening
  • Location: Kaheiheimalie Building (1374 Nuuanu Avenue, Honolulu, Hawaii 96817)
  • Medical insurance is not accepted
  • This course meets the requirement of the State of Hawaii’s Judicial System
